Development Centre

These have been running since 2001 and currently have 60+ players attending our Development Centre's located at Lighthall School and Arden School.

These centres are invitation only and is an opportunity for the more talented players we see to step up from After School Clubs or Mini Soccer or any of the courses run by The Football Development Scheme.

Each month, our coaches work on a different topic (eg. Shooting/Heading/etc) to improve the players ability in that topic, both individually and as a team.

Competitive games are arranged when there is an opportunity against the other Centre's and in March 2007 we took the group to train at Wasthills (the Birmingham City Football Club training ground).

Since the Development Centre has been running, 7 players from the group having been asked to join professional clubs, including Birmingham City, Aston Villa, Coventry and West Bromwich Albion

We have also recently set up an arrangement with Jerry Gill (ex-professional footballer) to supply kit from Errea to the Development Centre.


At the end of every season we arrange a presentation where certain players will receive awards for their performances over the last 12 months.
